Tooper Pendant Lamp

Originally conceived in 2020 and continuously refined through multiple design iterations, Tooper Pendant Lamp transforms an everyday play object into a collectible lighting piece. Built from modular plastic play balls, the lamp explores the relationship between memory, material and light, reimagining a familiar childhood object as a contemporary lighting experience.

Inspired by memories of playground ball pits, Tooper evokes a sense of curiosity, joy and nostalgia while encouraging viewers to rediscover ordinary objects through a new perspective. Each sphere contributes to the structure while diffusing light, creating a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere that changes with every viewpoint.

The project reflects an ongoing exploration of modular construction, emotional design and material reinterpretation. By giving a mass-produced object a new architectural role, Tooper celebrates imagination, reuse and the enduring emotional value of everyday materials.
