Interactive Light & Sound Installation
The Crimson Procession
The Crimson Procession is an interactive light and sound installation inspired by the symbolic presence of red tulips as emblems of remembrance, resilience and renewal. Developed as a composition of modular lighting objects, the project explores the relationship between collectible design, spatial experience and audience participation.
Each illuminated tulip is conceived as an independent lighting object while simultaneously forming part of a larger architectural installation. Together, these modular elements transform individual products into a unified environment where light, sound and human presence become interconnected.
Rooted in the cultural symbolism of the red tulip within Iranian collective memory, the installation reflects on memory, loss, hope and regeneration. As visitors move through the space, they become active participants in the work, experiencing an environment where object, light and sound continuously shape one another.
